Someone’s been very hardworking. Over at tofuhut you can find an almost endless list of audioblogs. I would like to inlcude some audio files as well on jazz-not-jazz, especially of older obscure songs, but since I’m not a lawyer and don’t want to file bankruptcy because I’ve just posted a few audio files, I rather leave things the way they are now.

Well I wish you’d reconsider, you seem to know your stuff. I’ve had precious little hassle from the suits; just stick to the obscure, remove tracks if requested to and take songs down after a short period of time.
We need more intelligent audiobloggers who can inform the music! And definitely more jazz bloggers!

Thanks for the compliment…but after all I’m living in Germany and everything that’s not allowed is more or less forbidden…if everything fails over here you might even need some kind of broadcasting licence for your audioblog in the future. Although as far as I know the GEMA (same as ASCAP in USA) and GVL (yet another company who claims money from us for actually nothing) are not sure yet how to handle the issue of audioblogging from Germany. In the end this is too risky for me. At least they’ve managed it to kill internet radio here in Germany (more infos here)
And yes, I’m a coward with no money for a lawsuit.
