I have got to say this is a sad day he was a great person and was talented writer. His music touch a lot of people I remember buying his first album but what was mad is my sister bought the album on the same day. That was Medicine 4 my pain great tracks I got his last album the day it came out in between jobs. He will be missed thank you for making great music. i'm so sad i had a chance to see him play at finsbury park a few years ago when there was a rnb soul and hip hop event on. I got out of my hotel i could hear his voice from the other side of the road i missed him by 10min. I was so gutted that i never got a chance to see him play live my heart goes out to his family. Here has to be the best uk soul act of my time. i never cry but when i heard about this it really did hert a lot. He was so talanted an his voice was amaszing. A true artist i will remember him for along time rest in peace lynden you will be missed.

I've just learnt about Lynden's passing now. My heart just sank. He was such a talented soul. I loved his music to bits and feel so bad that I missed one of his live shows when he was touring South Africa a few years back. May his soul rest in peace. We will remember him always. We appreaciate the legacy that he has left behind, his music, we will cherish it forever.

A truly sad piece of news. I also knew nothing of Lynden's illness & what a shock to hear of his sad passing away. A great memory I'll always treasure is being with my boyfriend at Notting Hill Carnival some years ago, and seeing a group of people cheering and waving. Looking up at the window of a pub, and there was Lynden David Hall smiling and waving... We spent the rest of the day really on a high at having seen one of our favourite singers, a true & humble star. My thoughts and prayers to Lynden's family. Rest peacefully Lynden- may your beautiful, velvet tones ring through my ears and in heaven always.
