Jazzhole new album Poet’s Walk

Jazzhole, who impressed me some years ago with their Circle Of The Sun album, have just released their new album Poet’s Walk via Soulbrother Records in the UK. A US release will follow on July 11th. This time Marlon Saunders, who has since the release of Circle Of The Sun released two albums on his own (Enter My Mind and A Groove So Deep The Live Sessions) is reported to be lead vocalist on almost every track.
Expect a review of Poet’s Walk soon on jazz-not-jazz.

upcoming

I’m sure you’ve noticed it. I haven’t posted very often in the recent week. Well, call it PCS, Pre-Christmas Syndrome, temporary non-inspiration or busy with other things (in fact, I’ve recently started another blog about old b/w movies and I’ve just revamped my photo site) but I’ll catch up with the records of the last weeks. So look forward to reviews of DJ Rain’s Urban Excursion album, Louis Mario Ochoa & Friends’ Cimarr√≥n, The Mary Lou Williams Collective’s Zodiac Suite: Revisited, Dione Taylor’s Open Your Eyes, Quantic’s One Off’s Remixes And B Sides and The Nostalgia 77 Octet’s Seven’s & Eight’s coming the next days.
